Changed out balancers today. Were making a little noise but gears still looked OK.

Was there much to it or was it more or less a straightforward job?

Pretty staight forward. Took about 1 1/2 hours per motor. Just make sure the timing marks are lined up.

Engine 2006, changed in 2016 with 1100 hours, the balancer was very bad worn off...The Yamaha Canada considered it as a part of the "maintenance" although there are a lot of complaints that it is manufacturer fault for many 150s made before 2006. You probably saw it on the net. And I posted here too.

Theres been four revisions on these things...the latest part number is 63P-11500-04-00. All F150 motors are effected up to 2013 as far as I can tell.
