Re: Newby just saying HI

Yes the roads to both Winter Harbour and Bamfield are challenging.
What my wife and I do is lanch at Port Alberni or Coal Harbour (end of paved road)
Wife runs up the inlet while I drive in the road with the truck and camper.

Re: Newby just saying HI

Where are you located? There are places open to Chinook fishing on the coast. At Winter Harbour you can fish 2 to 3 miles off shore and in the inlet. Area 27 Bamfield has lots of places to fish inshore. Chinook should be there soon. I will be going to Winter Harbour on the 5th of July. Will post fis...

Re: Garmin question

Radar has too much data to transmit over a nema 2000 network. It needs an ether net connection. With your setup you will need a standalone Ethernet hub with two or more ports. https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Network-Port-Expander-Device/dp/B000255KV2/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=garmin+ethernet+hub&qi...

WE used the boat a lot and did many 20 mile offshore trips. ( I weigh 230 LBs ) I bought the shockwave S5 and have used it for 3 years. It ...

Re: Rod towers/ rocket launchers in Northern California.

I ordered mine from fishon sports. https://www.fishonsports.com/240.html Have the same problem of needing to lower it to get in the garage. Used the deck mount brackets that allowed the arch to pivot on the aft bracket. The arch cleared the canvas cover by about an inch which gave us the lowest arch...

Re: Shooters been busy

Have a 700 in 300 RUM with a 26 in barrel.
Sighted mine zero at 300 yards.
Use a Leopold scope and Boons and Crochet reticle
First time at the range after break in it shot a 2 inch group at 600 yards.
Have shot 4 elk at over 400 yard(two at 625) with it and 6 moose.
