Re: Advantages of Stainless Steel prop?

When I changed from an aluminum to a SS prop the top end stayed the same but my cursing RPM went down by 150 RPM.

Someone once told me that if an aluminum prop hits a rock it's your problem but if a SS prop hits a rock it's your insurance companies problem.

Re: Radar for dummies

Have a 3G on my 190 ET searunner They will not track logs, clouds or rain but it will pickup boats very well. If you get the point 1 compass you will be able to run the radar on the same screen as the chart. This gives you a much easier time reading the radar output as you can see what is land and w...

Re: rainbow fishing in lake roosevelt

On the BC coast people will catch 20 Coho on a good day looking for 2 hatchery fish. The result is a l...

Re: fishing arch install

The aft deck fitting for my arch was just forward of a weld in the deck which had a backing plate. WE just drilled and taped the two plates. No nuts required. That fitting is in compression so it will never pull the bolts out of the deck.

I have the 2015 Suzuki 9.9 connected to my NEMA network.
It works great and will display hours, rpm, miles/gallon, temp etc.

Re: So I have a prov 200 et seat bases!

I used the rotating mechanism and seat from the old Smooth Moves setup.
Works fine.

Re: Shockwave suspension

I installed mine on the stock base that came with the smooth moves seats.
The base needed to be moved back about 3 inches.
This seat was one of the best things I ever bought for the boat.
