Re: Anchor Selection

Hey Tom.... I can't help much with the search function question..... but here's a link to a thread that shows what I ended up with on my 220 OP and might give you some ideas. I think you might find that the storage locker is too small for the anchor and all the rode and chain. My set-up is handy, ea...

Re: Firearm Storage

I don't currently have any need for long guns on the boat. As for my EDC I don't keep it on my hip once I leave the ramp dock. Just too much banging around and potential salt water exposure. I've been removing the entire holster from my belt and then put all into the glovebox still locked into the h...

Re: Added music to my baby

Sweet-n-easy idea Seadawg! Already have the crimper on board! I didn't really mean to photo the piece - it's an S&W MP2.0. I considered putting in a mount like I have in the truck, but I can't really imagine a quick-draw need on the boat. You know when you're cranking on a really big butt and I'm s...

Re: Suspension seats

I also am 100% satisfied with the smooth moves after almost 4 years. The shockwaves just seemed to push forward and the armrests felt too high. For your 18ft Sportsman, I'd say that the Smooth Moves are the right part. I also have the bolt on armrests. https://hosting.photobucket.com/albums/ii155/sc...

Re: Added music to my baby

Nice!!! I bet that system really rocks! I also have a Fusion system networked into my Garmins. I also like your throw ring mount...I might steal that idea! PS... Is that a Glock G21 on the passenger seat? PSPS... I also noticed that your glove box door is hanging down. Here's a $1 and one minute mod...

Re: Anchor Buddy System

Hey Seadawg, In step 5 do you “set” the anchor by reversing like normal or do you just let it fall to the bottom because of stern line? Thanks, First I get everything all set to deploy with the walkthrough door open. Once I have the boat positioned right where I want it, I go to neutral, move forwa...

Re: Bow Ladder

Awesome data thanks! As I'm just getting started exploring the local area I never realized that stretch of beach so close yet isolated. Wife has gone out twice now and her days were made both times watching the whales feeding in about 12' of water right off of Priest Point. She's not too keen to fi...

Re: Bow Ladder

Hey SeaDawg I've been reading your posts outfitting the same boat I got, almost. Doing your iPad suggestion now. I have the anchor Buddy in my Amazon cart right now, love the concept but hadn't considered it "reverse" like your pics. Looks a bit awkward for off-loading without scraping stuff like t...
