Re: Prop issues

The dealer suggested I go to a 14.5 x 16 stainless. They said that the only way to get rid of the cavitation burn was go
Stainless. I was thinking about calling Tacoma Propeller and seeing what they recommend. I’m open to anything at this point.

Prop issues

I’m not sure if this is technically a “project” or not, but I’m hoping maybe you all have some expertise on the subject. Below is a picture of my prop after about 100 hours of use in my 2020 yamaha F200. Tops out at about 5800, occasionally 5900. I purchased the boat at Tom and Jerrys and I had to s...

I was having a problem trolling with my Yamaha 9.9 this summer. When I put it into gear it trolls too slow. Hardly any line angle on the downriggers. If I tried to move it up, even slightly, too fast. Downrigger lines too steep. There was a big jump from idle to the step above idle. It was driving m...

Re: Puget Sound report

Just to get into area 4 isnt that far. 8-10 miles maybe. I was running out to Swiftsure towards the end. That was around 40 miles each way.

Re: Puget Sound report

Been a tough year in area 6. Not a lot to show for my efforts compared to previous years. Did okay in Area 4 including a 36lb king. Hopefully things finish with a bang, and some coho show up.
