Re: Aluminum Hardtop Rack / Basket

Fall works for me! Glad they are able to get back at it after the shutdown.

Re: Garmin question

I don’t think selling the 7 and getting another 9 solves it, since the front unit needs 2 ethernet ports, one for radar and the other To link the 2 units. The 9 has one port. I the ethernet hub sounds like it could be a solution. Maybe someone here has experience with one.. Thank you for your input.

Re: Garmin question

I have nmea 2000 on the system but it doesn’t connect the two units and the radar together in that they wont share transducers, or radar on both units. I think i’m going to need a black box or something to get it all hooked together.. thanks though.

Garmin question

Any of you Garmin gurus able to help me with an issue? I have a 942xs front, 742 rear. Currently they are not linked up because radar takes up the ethernet port on the 942. I have separate transducers going to each unit. The front unit has all the nmea hooked up to it. The rear is pretty much indepe...

Re: Aluminum Hardtop Rack / Basket

I imagine he is building up quite a waiting list. He was going to build one for me, and I believe had one in front in mine when the closures hit. I don’t think anything has changed as of yet. I can’t wait to get mine as well. Might be the best add on I’ve seen!

Re: Rod rack project

Looks great! Have the same style in our ProV and one thing I've noted is the rubber grippers have a tendency to slide downward from weight of the rods. I carefully pinched the bottom slots on mine - problem solved. ;) There seems to be two types of the rubber grippers. Some are soft and flimsy, som...

Rod rack project

Wanted more horizontal rod storage on the boat. Liked the Moeller style I had in my sportsman. They are too short to reach across the struts running along the side of the boat so I made a bracket from some 1 1/2” aluminum. I think it’ll keep the rods out of harms way when trailering or mooring. Put ...

Re: All fishing closed!!

So frustrating that they did this. Along with closing 6 million acres of woods. Makes me wonder what their thinking is with funneling us all in close proximity? I think when this is over people better really think carefully about how easily we were stripped of our rights, and how bizarre some of the...

Re: Installed second set on interior lights

Yes, I just ran off the existing lights figuring they don’t draw much. They are flush mount so really just two holes for the screws and the one for the wires. I called the dealer and told them what I wanted and they ordered them for me.
