Re: starter battery drain

Have to agree on bilge pump, wouldn't do much good if you're mooring and it's shut off. As suggested above, time to have main load tested so you know actual capacity. Do fully charge it first before having it tested. ;)

Re: thanks all! Fare thee well!

Not at all Woody, there are other folks here who don't have Hewescraft boats. No need to leave because you sold yours. ;)

Re: Cuddy walk through window

^^^^ good idea. I've chased water leaks on cars many times only to find the leak wasn't where it "appeared" to be.

Andy the sealant could be urethane vs silicone, might check with your dealer or call Hewescraft to confirm.

Bradley with a few mods. Convection fan and a 900w heating element. I also use an Auber instrumentshttps://www.auberins.com/index.php?main ... cts_id=380 controller with it.
Plan to add a PID to mine this year.

Re: Trailer bunks...are two better than one?

I splash all but about 18" - 24" of the bunks when loading keeping in mind ramp angle has a lot to do with what works best. I used EZ Loader recommendations with just the end of bunks in the water but, in my case, that meant winching the boat most of the way onto the trailer. I found by going deeper...

Re: Planar 44D in 180 ProV HT/ET

When researching the Planar for our boat I learned there are 3 controllers, a dial, and LED, and digital (what I ordered).

Can see all 3 versions in the Planar section of forum sponsor BK Marine's website - https://www.bkmarineservices.com/shop
