Mooring cover and canvas work

Unread post by beekbob »

Just got the boat back from having some Canvas work done. Mooring cover, slide curtains, and front and rear window covers. Now when i’m mooring, i can completely close up the boat. Hopefully keep the honest people honest.

Try editing the pics so they are shorter, you lose a bit of the pic but they will post correctly.

Canvas looks great! Seen your pics of running around PA and the ones out on Sutherland. Lived there in Maple Grove for several years. My searunner should be here in Kodiak in January and gonna need a rear deck cover made. Who did the work for you? I wonder if they have the templates still and could make one for me.

Smart Custom Canvas in Sequim. I think he builds them custom to each boat. I wanted to be able to leave my downriggers on, and wanted the cabin door to be able to swing open with the cover on. I also asked for zippers on each side so it didn’t matter which side I was mooring on.. Broke in my motors out at Sutherland last spring. Most of my time is spent out chasing Salmon on the Strait. I did an 8 day float trip on Kodiak years ago.. Ayakulik River in late May. Big kings and countless sockeye. Kodiak is a great place.
