2011 Searunner wiper arm Help, Please

Unread post by Iceman » Thu May 03, 2018 7:51 am

Hi all,

My wiper arms have gotten out of timing, & I need to remove the arm from the wiper motor shaft so I can reposition it to match the other side. Got the fixed arm off, can't tell how to free the main arm from the motor shaft. HELP PLEASE.

Thanks;

The black end of the wiper arm lifts up, under is a white metal collar with an allen head bolt. Loosen the bolt and it will slip off.

D' oh:

Thanks for the ouick reply, it prompted me to do a closer inspection with better light, I saw a tab on the inside of the arm that had a tab that could be pried up to release the big arm off the wiper motor post. Also saw that the smaller arm could be adjusted by prying a lever up to allow the smaller arm length to be adjusted. All seems to OK now.

thanks again!
