Rod towers/ rocket launchers in Northern California.

Unread post by Jons »

Any shops in Northern California that does this kind of work. I’m looking to get a custom fold down tower built for my 190 sea runner.

Thanks!

Jon

Is your SR a hard top? Do you have Radar? Reason I ask is that if you have or intend to have radar, then there are some good fixed launcher options that might work... and not increase your height clearance requirements needed for the radar anyway...

Where are you in northern Cali ? I have used Athony's Marine, 259 S Guild Ave, Lodi, 95240, Ca. (209) 224-8824. he is honest and hard working. His motor work is unreal. I have talked to him about a tower and he has done a few. Call him and see if you can get together.

I’m in Lathrop. So that’s not far at all... I’ll give him a call.
Thanks!

I ordered mine from fishon sports. https://www.fishonsports.com/240.html
Have the same problem of needing to lower it to get in the garage.
Used the deck mount brackets that allowed the arch to pivot on the aft bracket.
The arch cleared the canvas cover by about an inch which gave us the lowest arch to be able to reach the rod holders.

I’m looking for something more sturdy than that preferably something that can tow a tube also. I like some of who dat designs but he’s up in Washington looking for someone closer.

Whodat is worth the drive. Give Tim a call, they can build it without the boat if you give them the measurements they need. They offered to do this for me, but I elected to drag the boat up instead.
