When I decided I needed a reliable fishing boat I started researching. I spent close to 18 months in my free time. After 6 I narrowed it down to Hewes. It’s close. Not sure how many times I typed hewescraft into my browser. After 11 and two weeks I found this forum. 2 weeks before I pulled the trigger. I wish I would have found it sooner. I would have done many, many, things different. I have never participated in any online forum. Until I bought mine. Now, I guess y’all are stuck with me. This is my entertainment. I spend a bit of time here. So much collective wisdom. Always learning. I call it research, my wife calls it my face stuck to my phone. Need to find a happy medium. and COMMERCIAL FREE. Thanks silverfox.

I echo everything that has been said above. I wish that I had found this forum before my purchase. Would have done a few things differently. Every morning, this is the place that I go to see what is up in the Hewes world. I have added so many things to the boat that I have found here. I post a question and WOW, here come the suggestions and answers. Some won't work for me but they are all informative. Anyway, thanks for hosting a great forum Silverfox and I will continue to read and ask questions from time to time. Also, really enjoy the stories that some folks post about their adventures.

Be safe and if you see Big Red out there on Puget Sound give me a holler on Channel 68. I would like to be able to identify fellow Hewes forum members. Thanks again. Big Red Chuck

I'm not concerned with references to THT or Arima or BBC or other non-Hewescraft specific forums, they are not, in my view, competitors.

Again, my heartfelt thanks for supporting my decision. :udaman:

This forum was turned on to me by a good friend and in the little over a year I've been apart of it its truly a blessing. I highly urge any and all to donate even $1.00 as well as keeping up all the good intel and teachings here. I love the fact that there's not a bunch of bs here and keeping the 'other' places out of here now is even better. Can't thank the site owner, manager, designer, etc etc for all the hard work. Tight lines my fleet!!
