Nah, I saw that thread and "commented" all over the prototype. About as far from my needs as you can get.

If nothing comparable pops up from Hewes in the next few years, the North River Seahawk Patrol is likely to make me a former Hewes owner. A 22' or 24' ET hull, 8'6" beam, 35" sides are music to my ears. Got a bunch of miles in a friend's 27' Seahawk OS, and the basic hull is about as smooth as I've seen in a pleasure boat. And the operating visibility of a T-top or center console layout let me fish the tight places where no cabin boat dares to venture.

Seems like a poorly run company.

For some reason they haven't updated their website, which is puzzling.

That said, if you take a tour of the plant you'll get an eyeful. They are very busy building quality boats and the folks that gave me the tour couldn't have been more courteous and professional. And the worker bees on the production line also looked like they knew exactly what they were doing.

Just received my new 2016 Ocean pro 22 ( have 3 others) and Hallelujah the wipers are on the top of the windows... My Alaskan that has them on top has never needed a motor replacement ( 2005 model) The others need a new motor every season at least...
I love them all though..

For what hewes craft lacks in there web site development I have to agree their web site sucks! BUT They make up for it ten fold in investing in future products
some exciting stuff coming guys just wait and see

most of their dealers have better web sites than hewes craft

but who cares ? As long as they keep building great boats that some one that fishes can afford to buy !!
visit your favorite Hewes craft dealer !
