That was a good year for my plunking angle at Rocks on the Cowlitz.

Sitting in my little sled across and upriver from that spot right now, baking in the sun....not missing anything this year Gary.

Hmmmm,,,,,,, That heater looks familiar. Any idea where it came from?

Oh, man! I do recognize that bridge and that site. good memories! I was in Vancouver on the 8th. As we passed over that bridge, I told my wife that I would like to see if I could find that site. I didn't do it , but if we had, we might have seen you out there. Small world.!!

You take the Jackson Hwy exit....then head north on Jackson Hwy until you hit Mandy Rd....follow that around and back toward the I-5 Cowlitz boat ramp. That plunking spot is before you get to the ramp on the right in the brush. Nice to have a boat and not bank it, just very few fish this year.

The Honda 225 and 250 are basically the same engine, same displacement, everything except the ECM for the 250 will run the rev limit 300 rpm higher and it probably has more timing to allow that. It could also have different cams, don't know. Maybe you could just swap out the ECM and be done if you could get the dealer to certify it was now a 225 and put a 225 cowling on it. Just brain storming here but might be worth checking out.
