Go or No Go?

Unread post by carlt2000 »

Trying to get out tomorrow in Area 10 for Blackmouth, can't decide if the weather is really all that fishable. Looking for thoughts/opinions on this forecast. Would be running down from Everett to Kingston.

I make those decisions based on my skill and knowledge of our boat's ability. I've also become more aware of not tempting fate as I get older. Those winds, on my home waters, would keep me shore bound.

Was planning to go fishing this weekend, yesterday's forecast changed those plans...

Friday - Snow, mainly after 10am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 33. South wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Friday Night - Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

This morning local forecast is now 3" - 5" Friday with same overnight, but destination forecast has increased from 4" - 7" Friday/Friday night to 4" - 10". We're staying home.
