Porta potty suggestions

Unread post by Beeman »

Looking for ideas on porta potty and storage on a sportsman 180.
Looks like I would maybe have to modify the 36" bench seat, but interested to see what others may have done.

I keep a 5 gallon bucket with a snap on toilet seat. If it’s # 2 it goes in a bag with dry peat moss & goes in the trash...

The Homer bucket with an oak toilet seat and some biodegradable TP works just fine. Just route out a groove on the underside of the wood seat so it fits nice and snug on the Homer bucket. Viola!! "Lets do This"

I also have a 5gal bucket with a hinged plastic seat and the bio poop plastic bags from Walmart (6 for $11) and trust me when i tell you, WELL WORTH IT... We were out of Neah bay south west of the Tattoosh line and my buddy was getting the sweats and could not hold it any longer. Got the bucket, seat, and plastic liner out and he took care of business... Lesson learned...KEEP the plastic bags readily/easily available. Almost had a disaster... Oh, and open your slider window as well. We were getting close to rocks, so I told him to hurry. When I got up to the helm inside, I almost threw up... Valuable lessons here, but all was good and when we got back to the dock, in the trash the plastic bag went (biodegradable...)
