Replacing Cover Snaps

Unread post by RFT »

My cover is 16yrs old. Snaps are tired. I would like to replace them. Has anyone done this and if so is there a specific snap to buy. Special tools?

Thanks

You can buy stainless snap kits on amazon and they come with the punch to set them with. Under $20. I bought 2, plain silver and black.

Just remember most snaps are sold by the piece.
A 40 piece kit is ten snaps. :eyepopping:

+1 on buying kits off Amazon.
Just check the kit reviews before buying.
I’ve replaced many on my covers & boat as well .
Once started it’s really a easy job ..
Good luck with your project 😉
