Follow up, still 2.5 inches of play in the swing away arm.
EZ Loader now has a welded swing away, not cast anymore. Offered me a standard tongue or welded and I took the offer for standard tongue which they will replace on their dime at my local marine service repair in Kalispell, MT. (I have no need for a swing away arm as I have plenty of storage space without the need to swing the tongue away)

That's interesting. My swing arms is very tight with no play what so ever. I don't have any issues with it.

I said welded up above and I meant the swing always are MACHINED steel now, not cast.
