Gunnel lights for night fishing

Happy Father's day to everyone. The Columbia River below the Snake River is still running high and brown due to all the rains in May and June in the mountains. We are feeling the effects like the Yellowstone is. The spillways are running at full capacity and there is a lot of floating debris to avoid. It will be another week or two before we can get back to fishing.

My fishing buddy Cliff came over and help me install lights under the gunnel to help us see while night fishing for walleyes. Since I don't have a hard top and Hewescraft pre wired the Sea Runner for them. I was able to use the wires in the back under the live well and use the cabin light toggle switch on the the dash. I am able to choose 15 different colors and dim them down to not attract the bugs.

What brand and type of LED lighting this you use?

Even has the strobe mode for when the fishing is slow and it turns into a beer drinking trip.

I purchased the lights off Amazon for $35 a string. They are 16.5' long and you can cut them if necessary. It worked out great and I did not have to cut them. They went from the back to front under the driver's seat.

That's looking nice!what is the width of your transom area?curious if you ran 24 or 36 inch rails for your system?I'm going with the fishfighter system since I had a few parts from my last boat but wasn't sure if I wants 36 or 24 on each side as 36 gives me only a 6 inch gap in between to remove and slide them on.
